We held our first Open Mic session of 2019 at the Glen Mhor Hotel’s Waterside building last night.
We had a wonderful evening, and hard from about fourteen of us. There were poems, both humorous and serious, powerful short stories and extracts from longer works, whimsical musings, snatches of memoir and non-fiction. It was a privilege to listen to this gifted group of readers, and there were many memorable images and phrases.
