Scotswrite: everything a writer needs

The Society of Authors in Scotland, SoAiS, has created what is expected to be one of the most exciting events in the 2017 writing calendar. ScotsWrite is a three-day conference that will enable delegates to network with and hear from some of the UK’s leading authors and writers, as well as key publishers, agents and experts in a variety of related fields. Whether you’re putting pen to paper for the first time or you’re an established writer, ScotsWrite has been designed - by writers - to help you go further along your chosen path. Irrespective of whether you’re a writer of fiction or non-fiction, a translator, children’s author, poet or writer for the media, ScotsWrite will address the challenges of breaking through creative, financial and promotional barriers. Author Line-up Keynote speakers include highly successful authors Joanne Harris, Jane Johnson and Joanna Penn, while talks and workshops are from experts in a variety of areas including marketing, self publishing, changing genre, technology, health and wellbeing, and ergonomics.
